OpenAGPS SUPL Packages
The SUPL communication is the defined standard between devices which want to get assistance to their navigation. To achieve this, they take easily available information, like reachable signal towers or a provided IP-Address and send that to a supl-server which has prepared information about satellites and gives that back to the device.
The main purpose of this project is to provide a supl-server implementation to allow this process to work without leaking positioning data to an external / untrusted entity. However it is not reliable to only have one side of the picture, therefore this also provides a client. The communication protocol is strictly defined, as this is required by both parts, that is available as a third package.
You can find each packages documentation in the package.
- The client
- The server and it's assisting migration package
- The protocol package used by both
